Forge Recovery Foundation  •  501(c)(3) Nonprofit

Recovery should not be
a privilege.

The Forge Recovery Foundation provides scholarships and grants for individuals and families who cannot afford the cost of recovery. We exist to make sure that cost is never the reason someone cannot access the help they need.

Behind Every Number Is a Person

These are not statistics. They are fathers, mothers, children, and siblings. They are your neighbors, your coworkers, and the people you love.

Addiction does not choose by income, background, or circumstance. But access to recovery often does. The Forge Recovery Foundation exists to change that.

This is what recovery looks like.

He has lived
what he teaches.

Ty Butler lost everything to addiction. His family, his freedom, and his sense of purpose. His rock bottom should have killed him. He detoxed alone in a camper with no running water, and made it through on nothing but grit and the grace of God.

What came next was not handed to him. He had to learn every tool, every discipline, and every lesson the hard way. Four children he fights for every single day. A life rebuilt from the ground up.

Now his mission is to make sure no one else has to learn it the hard way alone. That is why the Forge Recovery Foundation exists.

"I lived in mediocrity. Sobriety became the baseline. Excellence became the standard. My mission is to make both attainable for anyone willing to show up and do the work."

Today, Ty is a three-time Ironman finisher, a certified interventionist, and a recovery mentor. The Forge Recovery Foundation exists to ensure that anyone ready to pursue recovery is never stopped by the cost of getting there.

Two ways your donation
changes a life.

01

Scholarships and Grants for Recovery

The Forge Recovery Foundation funds scholarships and grants for individuals who are ready to pursue recovery but cannot afford the cost. That may mean treatment, sober living, trauma therapy, clinical care, or coaching, whatever path that person needs to take. Financial hardship should never be the reason someone cannot access help. Your donation keeps that door open.

02

Outreach, Education, and Community Programs

Awareness and access go hand in hand. Foundation funding supports community outreach, family education, and recovery programs that connect individuals and families with resources and support at every stage of the journey, regardless of what they can afford.

What it actually costs
to give someone their life back.

$50

$250

Contributes toward a week of clinical care, sober living, trauma therapy, or recovery coaching for someone who cannot afford it on their own.

$1,000

Funds a meaningful portion of treatment, sober living, or clinical recovery services, giving someone the real start they need.
